The strangest things find a new home in Stephan’s studio, which she calls a „sacred place.” Old bird breeding cages, discarded doll’s house furniture, all kinds of animal preparation - in both wet and dry form, old photos, documents and wallpaper. Usually finds that nobody wants to have any more. In her "Memory Rooms" Stephan relocates these objects, combines them with dissimilar pieces, giving them a new role upon the stage of art. That way she questions past life and experience, which is buried beneath the layers of time.
